Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. They describe what PokeeBee actually does and what you can hold us to — not more.

1. What is this agreement?

By using PokeeBee you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy, which explains what data the app handles and who processes it. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

PokeeBee is made by JidAi Labs, currently being established as an Estonian company (OÜ). Until that is complete there is no registered company behind these terms, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Section 12 explains what that means for you.

2. What does PokeeBee do?

PokeeBee finds birthdays and occasions in the contacts and calendars you already have, reminds you before they arrive, and helps you choose a gift. It is free. There is no paid tier, no advertising, and nothing to buy inside it.

The gift agent has a daily limit on how many questions it will answer. This is to keep a shared, paid-for service usable for everyone, not to push you toward an upgrade — there isn’t one.

3. Who can use it?

You must be at least 13, or 16 in the EEA and the UK. By using PokeeBee you confirm you meet that.

4. What about my account?

You sign in with Google or Apple, so PokeeBee never sees or stores a password. Keep access to that account secure — anyone who can sign in as you can see what you have saved.

You can delete your data or your whole account at any time from You › Data & privacy, or by asking us at envoy@jidailabs.com. There is also a page describing every deletion route.

5. What am I not allowed to do?

Do not use PokeeBee to store or process content that is illegal, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that you have no right to hold. Do not try to bypass the gift agent’s limits, script access to the app, or attempt to reach other people’s data.

We may block access where these terms are broken.

6. Who owns what I add?

You do. The notes you write about people, the occasions you create and the gift ideas you save remain yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store what you asked us to sync, and to pass your question to the gift agent when you ask it something.

We do not train AI models on your content, and neither does our AI provider on data sent through its API. If you delete something, it is gone from our side too.

7. What about the gift suggestions?

They are generated by an AI model and they can be wrong. A suggestion may be unavailable, mispriced, out of date, or simply a bad idea for the person you have in mind. Message drafts may be clumsy or inappropriate for your relationship.

You own the output and can use it however you like. But read it before you act on it — PokeeBee is a starting point for your judgment, not a substitute for it. We are not responsible for a gift that disappointed someone.

Prices, availability and links to retailers come from third parties and are often out of date. Always check the actual retailer before buying.

8. What services does PokeeBee rely on?

Suggestions are generated by Anthropic. Sign-in is provided by Google and Apple. Your account and synced notes are stored with Supabase, and analytics and crash reporting come from Google Firebase. Their terms apply to the parts they handle, and the Privacy Policy lists each one with a link.

PokeeBee’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. What does PokeeBee guarantee?

Honestly, very little. The service is provided as is, free of charge, on a best-effort basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, that reminders will always arrive, that suggestions will be good, or that any feature will still exist next month. We may change, limit or withdraw features without notice.

Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. Notifications depend on your phone’s operating system, its battery settings and its network. Do not rely on PokeeBee as the only thing standing between you and a forgotten anniversary.

10. What is PokeeBee’s liability?

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using PokeeBee — including a missed occasion, a gift that was wrong, or data lost from your device.

Some countries do not allow limits like this. Where the law gives you rights that these terms cannot remove, you keep them in full, and nothing here is intended to reduce the statutory protections you have as a consumer where you live.

11. Can these terms change?

Yes. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and if a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use PokeeBee after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Which law applies, and where would a dispute be heard?

This is not settled yet, and we would rather leave it blank than name something untrue. JidAi Labs is in the process of being established as an Estonian company; once it is registered, this section will name the governing law and the courts, and the change will be posted here with a new date.

Until then: if something goes wrong, write to envoy@jidailabs.com and we will try to sort it out directly. Wherever you live, the consumer rights your own law gives you apply regardless of what this section eventually says.

13. How do I get in touch?

envoy@jidailabs.com — for anything about these terms, a complaint, or a copyright concern. We aim to reply within 30 days.

These terms describe what PokeeBee actually does. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer, and they will be revisited when JidAi Labs OÜ is registered.
